Having just survived crossing East Broadway at evening rush hour, I had chance to attend the Blue Water Anglers Club vs. Sea & Surf Anglers Club of Boston light tackle tournament this week. This was the 43rd annual tournament that alternates between Bermuda and Boston every year. Between the weigh-in, dockside gutting and filleting and indulging in the freshest of barbequed turbot, I informally interviewed Bermudian and some American anglers. While it was an all-male tournament this year, I collected perspectives from some of BWAC's female anglers and members' of the womens' auxillary too.
